　　It is my great honor to be here to talk about my college years and share with you the details of my growth。

　　Since September 8, 2015, I have spent 1,507 nights in Beijing Institute of Technology. Four years is too long a story。So I might as well find four unforgettable nights, hoping to outline my four years of Beitech feelings with these four nights。

First night: Confusion and exploration

　　November 12, 2016 21:30。

　　In the Comprehensive Education Performing Arts Hall, the 41st Late Autumn Song Festival hosted by me is in full swing。

　　Over the past year, in addition to hosting, I also tried a lot of new activities。Yes, like most students, I was confused when I first entered the university。Faced with the long-lost "free-range" management and the unfamiliar free time, few people can achieve a clear goal, calm and sober toward a fixed goal。

　　But it's not scary。Under the new rhythm of life, I set myself the idea of "try more, develop widely and explore deeply" to actively participate in competitions, experience activities, exercise skills and feel happy。Try to know a little about everything, and strive to know a little more about something。Facts have proved that this kind of thinking has laid a broad foundation for my development, and also made my freshman year full and full of tension。

　　As a freshman, I was a junior secretary of the Student Union office and an amateur host of the Beijing Industrial Speech Group.He was an activist who submitted an application to join the party and a propagandist who advised the class。

　　Many days I go to work early and come back late I will tell myself that busy in another way is also fulfilling。Don't be afraid to be busy. In fact, my organization, cooperation, expression and other abilities have been preliminarily trained. The coordination between homework tasks, student organizations and interests has also made me more resistant to pressure and more good at dealing with multi-threaded tasks。

　　Of course, I have not forgotten my main job as a student。When I first entered the university, the difficulty, depth of the courses and the requirement of independent learning made it difficult for me to adapt to them. Under such circumstances, I tried to keep a good habit of listening to lectures and taking notes, and made full use of time after class to practice frequently。

Night 2: Experience and growth

　　The second night was 4:30 on August 20, 2017。

　　At that time, I was loading the welcome materials into the car at the north gate of Zhongguancun campus to meet the arrival of a new group of Beili people。

　　Human energy is limited, we always have to slowly from trying to move to a gradually clear goal, which is to grow。

　　In this way, I decided to stay in the student Union of the university, and continued to be a member of the presidium of the university in the junior and senior years, and also joined the Communist Party of China with honor。Do you think that "Communist Party members" and "student cadres" may sound like recognition and opportunities, but I think it is a responsibility and a requirement。

　　How to really be a party member and a banner, how to make the student union "humble and serve the campus", is actually a higher requirement for me and an updated challenge。

　　The Student Union is an important part of my undergraduate four years。

　　I joined the student council office as a freshman。This department does not organize activities directly for students, but our mission is to ensure the efficient operation of the Student Union organization。

　　At that time, my partners and I approved countless approvals, sorted out countless materials, and silently contributed to every activity serving the campus。

　　We also created the first small office skills class, from the writing skills, Word application and PPT production and other aspects of the students' introduction training, widely praised。

　　After the junior year, my thinking level gradually improved, and I began to think about what the student union is？What do students really need？

　　Therefore, we strengthen the awareness of the constitution for the backbone of students, write a work manual, so that the action has rules to follow;We continue to improve the brand activities, with late autumn song, fluorescent night run and other cultural and sports feast light up the campus;We implement the concept of "open the door to run the school" to open up information channels...All of this。

　　The so-called service campus is to use the most sincere attitude to do things that students like to participate in and can benefit from。

　　The broad platform of the school also provides me with the opportunity to go out。

　　Last year, after many tests, I was selected into the Capital College Talents School and the National Qingma Project of the League Central Committee, to serve the country and contribute to the higher platform。

　　In the memorial pavilion of the December 9 Movement, in the China-Korea Youth Forum, in the Red Flag Canal, Jinggangshan, in the China-Africa Forum, the Belt and Road, and the National Day celebration, I threw myself into every corner to fulfill my original mission...

　　These valuable experiences have made me further understand the vastness of the motherland society, the vastness of the grassroots world, and the magnificence of theory and belief, so that my heart will go to a higher level。

　　Such experience not only allowed me to increase my knowledge, improve myself, harvest happiness, but also tempered my vision and mind。

Night 3: Frustration and grind

　　The third night is 23:00 on December 21, 2018, the night before the entrance exam。

　　I was checking the dorm room。Carrying a thick pile of materials on a fixed seat in the classroom, he walked back to the dormitory。

　　I can't help but think back to 100 days ago, looking at the students around me who have already reviewed the small half year, I just checked the exam outline online。

　　Because I was full of confidence to be able to maintain my postgraduate education, but I fell a big stumble, and unexpectedly lost my qualification for postgraduate education。

　　During that time, I was full of confusion. I checked the disadvantaged majors of disadvantaged schools, I went to job fairs, I applied for selective placement, and I even began to prepare for the Second World War in advance, that is, another year of examination。

　　But after the confusion, I still chose to face it bravely。

　　In that one hundred days, I spent the most nervous four years of college is also the most intense learning time。The campus that is about to turn off the lights is my battlefield, and the scratch paper piled up into a hill and the pen refill used up have become my weapons。Zhongguancun South Street every morning red glow, night gradually rising and falling stars are in my eyes。

　　I study optoelectronics。Remember that when we were doing the optical process practice, we had personally experienced the transformation process of a piece of optical glass from blank to lens, that is, sharpening。

　　Three months later, when I saw the postgraduate entrance examination score of 113 points above the re-examination line, when I achieved the first place in my major in the preliminary and re-examination, all the temper also became wealth。

　　I think that every student here may be a piece of glass, and maybe we will become different optical components in the future, shining on different instruments, but the process of sharpening is painful and irresistible。

　　We may be dull, but we will never sink;May be confused, but never lost。There is also a saying that all the past is wealth。

Night 4: Bloom and Prospect

　　The fourth night is on May 10 at 21:00 this year。

　　I was named the 8th Annual Role Model。

　　Holding the trophy, holding this heavy little dream, I know that this honor does not belong to me alone, it is the training and encouragement of the school and teachers, how many students and friends are tolerant and shoulder to shoulder, but also the love and love of countless people inside and outside the school in the past four years。

　　Standing on the podium, I was a little emotional and a little messy。
